What do you do for Patrikios Pavlou & Associates?

I am the Corporate Finance, Tax and Private Client partner of Patrikios Pavlou & Associates LLC, a full service law firm based in Limassol Cyprus. I spend my days advising clients and associates mainly on corporate, tax, trust law and in general private client matters. Lately, I have been also advising on EU sanctions and restrictive measures. My clients include HNW and UHNW individuals, local and international enterprises and organisations, foreign investors, as well as banking and financial institutions. I am also a member of the Management Committee of the firm, something which enables me to be hands on with law firm management. Moreover, I often travel attending conferences and seminars abroad, not only for the purposes of professional development but also to meet likeminded professionals and grow the firm’s network. Finally, I participate as a speaker or panellists in various seminars, in Cyprus and abroad.

I consider myself as a problem solver. What I find most exhilarating in my role is the opportunity to meticulously examine existing corporate and trust structures, regardless of their size, and advise on enhancing their efficiency. I also enjoy providing tailor made solutions so that clients can reach their goals. Moreover, the chance to travel and network globally adds a thrilling dimension, enriching my perspective and fostering valuable connections worldwide.

My most significant achievement to date is striking a harmonious work-life balance. Itenables me to grow professionally, while at the same time it allows me to spend valuable time with my family and nurture personal relationships, but also to pursue my passions and hobbies, ultimately enhancing my effectiveness in my work.

As a law firm we act as legal advisors, providing legal assistance and support to family offices located worldwide, corporate service providers, trust professionals, audit firms, and other professionals. We also work along a number of professional advisors, including wealth and asset managers, investment advisors, legal consultants,tax consultants, audit firms and professional trustees for the purposes of adding value to our clients. This collaborative network ensures comprehensive support for our clients' needs.

I joined PCD with the aim of meeting and networking with like-minded professionals from across the globe. Attending PCD events provides the opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas with private client professionals from all over the world, to be informed about the latest developments on similar matters in other jurisdictions, compare experiences, and of course to socialise. On a weekend, I am most likely found...... at the beach, enjoying the sun and sea with my family and friends. I also love engaging in water sports like wakeboarding or diving. It's my ideal way to unwind and recharge outside of my professional commitments.
